Robi Joyita has been nominated for the GSMA Globe Award for helping small women to buy a mobile handset. Micro-credit based program has been nominated for 'Best Mobile Innovation for Women in Emerging Markets' category. Robi is implementing the initiative by signing an agreement with Bank Asia. Under this, the handsets are being distributed to MI users. The award will be distributed between the winners of the Mobile World Congress (MWWC) held in Spain from February 25 to 28 in Barcelona.
